The Walls are Done

The Framing is complete. Both the left and right walls (of the trailer) are essentially finished, we just need to nail the final three pieces of blocking in place. Just today, Mr. Agosti went to pick up the HDU 4s, which are the industrial tie-downs that secure the framing to the trailer via the threaded rods. Now that all the walls are finished, we will stand up the walls likely tomorrow, March 16, and then move on to the second floor framing. The, “Tiny House,” we now begin to resemble an actual house, not just a trailer with wood on it.

We stood up the front and back walls on the trailer in preparation for the left and right sides. Picture in the left image is the majority C block Tiny House build class and in the center The remaining two walls are both nearly done. The left wall (pictured on the trailer), needs a few more nails and then it will be complete, whereas the right wall is about 60% done with the nailing. Once these walls are finished, we will stand them up and secure them to the trailer using the (still yet to have arrived) HDU 4 building clips.
